Dr. Yuen was excellent at talking to the patient, my 5 year old granddaughter as well as myself. The only slight critisism was that I had to make the questions slightly more child friendly so that she could understand what the doctor was asking.

This Doctor is absolutely brilliant. I'm nearly 16 and may surfer with anxiety it is soon to be diagnosed but he takes his time and its for a good cause, he finds out all the background info towards your problem and pieces it together and he will ask you questions just in case you forgot, he listens to you a hundred percent and even asked me my own opinion on what I thought was the problem. He was incredibly polite and easy to talk to and makes you feel comfortable. He also reassured me.

I am a "professional" parent: someone with a child with complex illness who needed frequent hospital inpatient care. You get to see, and know well, a lot of medical staff and you quickly find out who knows their stuff and who to trust. Dr Yuen certainly knew his stuff, I always relaxed when he was treating my daughter. He was also honest, unpatronising and listened very carefully to what we said. We saw Dr Yuen a lot when my daughter was a paediatric oncology patient. When she became seriously unwell Dr Yuen stayed with her for her scan and ensured I knew how worried they were without frightening me. He had the awful job of breaking the worst possible news; that my daughter only had a short time left to live. He knew it would break my heart but he gave me the news sensitively, honestly and compassionately. I am so grateful he took the time I needed to talk properly to me and for his compassion. My daughter thought he was lovely and would tolerate him treating her when others couldn't get near her. I can't recommend him highly enough and I wish there were more like him. Thank you.

This Doctor helped to save my son's life when he was admitted to A&E on blue light after having a major fit which caused respiratory arrest. This Doctor and everyone in A&E worked tirelessly, compassionately, knowledgeably to save our son. We are more grateful than words could possibly express. Whenever he saw us he listened to what we had to say and took account of our own knowledge and talked to us on an appropriate level. Dr Yuen answered all questions asked with thoughtfulness and honesty and we could not have been happier with his manner or treatment of our son at every stage.
